Museum Passes

Thanks to the Friends of the Babylon Public Library, Babylon patrons can now reserve museum passes. These passes provide free admission to some of the areas most popular museums. All you need is an adult library card in good standing. For more information on our Museum Pass Program take a peak at our Museum Pass Brochure.

We have 3 POD (Print On Demand) passes:  the Children’s Museum of the East End, The Frick Collection, & the Vanderbilt Planetarium.  When you reserve any of these passes, choose the day that you are going to the museum.  These passes are good for one day only.  When you reserve, remember to print out the reservation page (that is your museum pass.)

Children’s Museum of the East End

The Library has one pass to the Children’s Museum of the East End in Bridgehampton. The pass allows free admission for up to 2 adults and up to 4 children.

Fire Island Lighthouse

The library has one pass to the Fire Island Lighthouse in Captree Island, NY. Each pass allows free admission for 2 adults and up to 4 children. Please note that children must be 42″ tall in order to climb the lighthouse. This pass is partly sponsored by the Village of Babylon Historical Society.

The Frick Collection

The library has two passes to the Frick Collection in New York City. These passes MUST be reserved together. Each pass allows one adult free admission.

Guggenheim Museum

The Library has two passes to the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. Each pass allows free admission for 4 adults and an unlimited number of children under 12.

Long Island Children’s Museum

The Library has one pass to the Long Island Children’s Museum in Garden City. The pass allows free admission for up to 4 patrons.

New York Transit Museum

The Library has one pass for the Transit Museum in downtown Brooklyn.  The pass allows free admission for 2 adults and 2 children (up to 17 years of age).  The museum is located at the corner of Boerum Place and Schermerhorn Street in Downtown Brooklyn.

Vanderbilt Mansion, Museum and Planetarium

The library has one pass to the Vanderbilt Mansion, Museum and Planetarium in Centerport, NY. This pass is good for general admission to the museum and Planetarium tickets for one show, for two adults and four children under the age of 18.
