How many items am I allowed to take out at one time? The total number of items you may have out at one time may not exceed 50 items per card, but this number and the loan period of the item varies depending on the type of item. Use the Circulation Policies chart in our Borrower’s Guide to see our loan periods, item limits, and overdue fines for different items in our collection. Also, keep in mind that if we request and obtain an item from another library it will circulate based on their loan rules, which may be different from Babylon Public Library’s.

I’m looking for a book/item that the Babylon Public Library doesn’t own, is there any chance you would be able to get it for me? Our librarians will be more than happy to help you try to find a book by using our inter-library loan services. Looking for a certain book, CD or DVD? Contact us today!

How do I reserve a Museum Pass? Babylon Public Library now uses Tixkeeper for all of its Museum Pass reservations. Simply find the date/s that you wish to reserve the pass and use your Babylon Library card to set a reservation. Need more info on our museum passes? Check out our Museum Pass page.
